Gault & Fremont is strongly committed to reducing its environmental impact through concrete actions such as the implementation of its carbon footprint , certifications concerning its activity, sorting and recovery waste, optimizing its packaging and prevention of pollution risks .
The raw materials daily used by Gault & Fremont (paper and cardboard) are eco-friendly : biodegradable, recyclable or from a renewable resource. The whole paper bag is biodegradable and 100% recyclable. The paperboard is 100% biodegradable and recyclable to 95%.
Gault & Fremont launched in 2009 a certification process for its industrial site.
The company obtained the label" Imprim'vert " in April 2010, which recognizes the commitment of Gault & Fremont to reduce environmental impacts associated with printing activities.
Since June 2010, the industrial site of Gault & Frémont is certified PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification ) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) . These two major certifications of the paper and cardboard industry ensure a very precise traceability, so we can recreate all the manufacture process from the raw materials to the packaging's user and vice versa.
In August 2016, Gault & Frémont was certified with the BRC IOP certification on its entire manufactured products, and a part of it is OK Compost HOME certified.
